Your car may run on Ethanol too!

Posted by Greg Walsh on May 4, 2006 in Green |

I was worried that my 2005 Toyota Corrolla would be left out in the cold as more and more Ethanol products are released at gas stations. Even though it won’t run on E85, it looks like we’ll be able to use some sort of blend to reduce the cost per mile of our car.

hi Greg, what happened to the website. the links don’t work. in any case, I live in New Mexico and we have a lot of people here making their own biodiesel/ethanol but my question is: is there a way of retrofitting a car, any car to run on the new fuel. Have you done anything in this respect.

thanks in advance,

Mike,

You can check this out: http://domesticfuel.com/?p=620

It looks like a kit to retrofit your car to E85. I haven’t found anything on biodiesel yet.
