But, both my kids’ teachers sent us messages with really good ideas around movies we can watch that tie into lesson plans and web sites to supplement learning.
That’s who should be thanked and congratulated…not the education bureaucracy on North Ave.

I would have been impressed if the content was serialized in some way to make it easy for non-teaching parents to help their kids through this.
Instead, my 5th grader got a 97 page packet for just TODAY. That includes standardized test practice. Is that the focus right now?

North Ave has curriculum experts who generate lesson plans that are available for teachers. This week should already have been in the files. It should have been almost instant to get them out to parents because these are all unabridged.

Unpopular opinion: The Baltimore City School’s packets are crap and they should not be lauded for putting them together in 3 days…it should have taken 3 hours.
Thank the classroom teachers who actually provided supplemental work for their students.
