The difference is I as a resident, dad, educator and researcher is trying to do something about it while you throw up BS “what abouts” and context free facts. @dbetzel @JohnBert07 @eric_hontz Like, I said, the city isn’t innocent in this process but requires more funding for wrap around student services due to things like lead exposure and extreme violence. Re: lead: Garrett County has 1/20 zip w/ > 50% or more at risk of elevated levels. Baltimore City has 50+ (~all)

The city’s hands aren’t clean on this but it really starts at the state. You need to understand a kid’s whole environment before judging the raw numbers. Context.
