@nandtpolitics @charmcitylwy @RedMaryland This all started because you think bikes and cars should be on the same hook for paying for roads and I interjected, Why ignore pedestrians (and horses too!) and that maybe we’ll have to rethink how all roads are paid for a variety of reasons as other states (blue and red) are.

@nandtpolitics @charmcitylwy @RedMaryland Oil prices go down during a lack of demand. Gas prices are usually related to crude oil but the MD gas tax is a flat rate of .35/gallon of gas. The tax revenue per gallon doesn’t change on cost but if there are less gallons being used, there are less taxes collected.
