On the same trip, we went to Cape Canaveral and saw the shuttle Discovery launch. We sat next to the crew of the next flight scheduled, the shuttle Challenger.

State Center in Baltimore is a good example of a #design whose requirements changed dramatically and couldn’t recover.
It looks like an abandoned Columbia/Rouse-esque retro future inside and has sky walks that go nowhere.
I’ve looked but can’t find info on its heyday.
