@KiaraNerenberg Baltimore City has some great public high schools. And I’ve worked with kids from supposedly not nice high schools that ended up being incredible (kids and schools).

@SolomonKurz @MegBrayshaw As a tenured professor, I say “nope”. What you see is one sliver of a person’s existence. And really, what glory comes from academics? If you don’t already have it, you’re not getting it. Glory is more about timing than hard work.
