@paulmgardner I truly thought we could have been the Cinderella story we were looking for but the “rash of bad news” could have made them think twice. There’s only so much economic infusion can do if the leaders aren’t motivated.

Last week, I procrastinated writing and built a plant notification system that told me when to water the plant in my office. I was startled to see it messaging “Thirsty” today. For a brief moment, I forgot it was just a simple sensor and felt empathy for the plant.
